Interested clients always ask me how early their kids can start doing surf lessons and I always use my 5 year old son as an example.
Lucas is 5 years old and has been riding the white wash and medium waves for the last 2 years. He is getting super good and really confident. If it were not up to my “mommy” fear instincts holding him back, he would probably be out in the line up already.
His new trick is to stand on the board and ride it while bending over and putting his head on the board, pretty talented! Soon he will be giving me pointers on surfing just like he does with my spanish.
Super stoked for the day that we both get to spend our Sundays off surfing away in Costa Rica paradise.
