Love was in the air this week at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp. On Friday night, in front of a crowded restaurant at Eat @ Joe’s, live on the radio during Witch’s Rock Pirate Radio, one of our guests proposed to one of our surf instructors. It was very romantic!
The guest was return-client Melissa Freake, asking Percy Arias to marry her live on Radio 2. I can’t think of a better way to ask for someone’s hand in marriage but on the beach, in Costa Rica, watching the sunset… but on NATIONAL RADIO?! That’s going to be a great story to tell the kids. Funny enough, this isn’t the first time one of our surf instructors got married to one of our guests. Maybe when this whole surf camp internship is over they’ll let me work as a surf instructor…
