In Costa Rica or Not: How to Enjoy the Pirate Radio Show Live from Eat at Joe’s
March 8, 2013
There’s a lot of radio shows in this world, but few that take place from a beachfront restaurant overlooking one of Costa Rica’s many breathtakingly beautiful beaches. Mix in the colorful personalities of figures such as surf legend Robert August, Radio Dos DJ Evan Luck and our very own Joe Walsh, and you have all of the ingredients needed for 2 hours of entertainment that’s made available to almost every corner of the world.
How to Tune In
Anyone currently reading this finds themselves in 1 of 3 situations: Either you’re here in Tamarindo or within driving/bike riding distance, you’re in another part of Costa Rica, or you’re in some other country trying to daydream your way back to the happiest place on earth. Regardless of which of these 3 categories find yourself in, you can take part in the wildly popular Pirate Radio Show @ Eat at Joe’s live from Witch’s Rock Surf Camp every Friday from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Here’s how:
In the Greater Tamarindo area: If you can walk, bike or drive here, we recommend doing it. The radio show is broadcast just as the sun begins to set over the glistening Pacific Ocean. Coincidentally, the Eat at Joe’s Happy Hour happens to to take place right at the same time. Come on in and pull up a chair, grab a drink, and sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
In another part of Costa Rica: If you’re here in the country but too far away to make it to the show in person, you can tune in and listen to it live on 99.5 FM. Radio Dos is one of the most popular radio stations here in Costa Rica, and this show fits right in to the good product they’ve been bringing for years. Get your dials set!
Tune in from Around the World: The internet is an amazing thing. While it’s not the same as actually being in Tamarindo, you can still imagine yourself sitting here on the beach, pour yourself a cold whatever-it-is-you-drink, and tune into the show by going to www.RadioDos.com and clicking the ‘Live Audio’ banner. You’ll feel like you’re right here with us.
We hope to see you here at the Surf Camp. If you can’t make it though, tune on in and enjoy the fun!
