….. Last month we paid tribute to one of the long-time staples of the Witch’s Rock Surf Camp experience. Having already developed what one could describe as a cult-like following, the ‘Nachos as Big as Your Ass’ from our Eat at Joe’s restaurant gained even more notoriety upon our April announcement that we created and added Pale Ale nacho cheese sauce to the recipe. ….. There are very few things quite as important to us here at Witch’s Rock Surf Camp as keeping the beaches of Tamarindo clean. We live and breathe the sand and ocean that we’ve come to call home here in Costa Rica, and our goal is to always leave the beaches we regularly enjoy better off than we found them. Good Times at El Vaquero (Our Second Beach Bar)

We’ve been chillin’ and grillin’ at El Vaquero, the open-air beachfront spot we recently opened on the south end of Witch’s Rock Surf Camp.  The bar and has quickly become a favorite hotspot for locals, guests, employees, and visitors in town. For all the folks over the years who have asked for dessert, the long wait is finally over.  Banana Splits, Cookie Monsters, and Sundaes soaked in Coffee Liquor (the “Sweet and Sloppy”) are flying out of the restaurant this month.  Guess we should have done this ages ago.
