Surf Report for Monday, February 28th 2011 (Afternoon/Evening)

Tamarindo

The wind turned onshore today right before noon.  Conditions remained choppy and mushy until mid afternoon.  The wind did finally turn offshore and closer to sunset it had enough behind it that it was able to hold up some small but clean barrels.

Waves were in the thigh to stomach high range with fairly clean conditions.

For Tuesday we are looking at pretty much the same swell size and direction as this afternoon.  Predictions call for chest to shoulder height, so we´ll probably still be seeing waist high here in Tamarindo.  Winds should hold offshore for the entire day coming out of the North East.

High Tide for Tomorrow will be at 12:09am/12:48pm

Low Tide at 6:30am/6:56pm

Time of post 6:22pm local time.
