Surf Report for Monday, May 2nd 2011

Tamarindo

The waves have definitely been building today.  We started out small this morning with mostly knee high rollers and by 3pm we were seeing some decent chest high on the sets.  Conditions have stayed somewhere between glassy and textured for the day.

Winds have stayed calm moving offshore in the AM and a soft side shore for the afternoon.  At the time of post winds were kicking back around to offshore and we should be seeing much more favorable wind conditions for the week ahead than we have seen in the past couple of weeks.

For Tuesday we should see between chest and shoulder high for the day.  In the afternoon we will  most likely see the winds shifting to side shore for a couple of hours but conditions should stay fair.

High Tide for Tuesday 2:53am/3:02pm

Low Tide at 8:46am/9:16pm

Time of Post 4:23pm Local Time.
