Surf Report for Saturday, October 1st 2011

*We have teamed with Rafa Sandoval of rafasand.com to bring you an even better surf report. More news on this coming soon!

The first day of October brought us small waves (although as you can see above, the waves were overhead for some people).

Longboards were definitely the way to go today, and this will be the case for the next day or two until we get our next swell.

Even though the waves were small, there were some clean corners to be had for those who were savvy enough to find them.

Everyone is looking to the horizon for the next swell. The waves will be in the knee to waist-high range until early Wednesday. It’s still a few days away, but this new swell is looking promising.

Keep checking back for more updates!
