Surf Report for Tuesday, March 15th 2011

@witchsrocksurf

Playa Grande (Morning)

We spent the morning just north of the main break in Playa Grande at Las Palmas.  Clean offshore winds for the entire morning with a mixture of sizes ranging from some nicely shaped waist high sets to some fast moving head high.  Over all the waves were strong and definitely moving fast but conditions were beautiful and super clean.

Tamarindo (Afternoon/Evening)

For most of the afternoon here in Tamarindo the wind was pretty mellow moving sideshore to offshore.  Conditions were on the choppy side and the waves were fairly inconsistent early in the afternoon.  Thing stepped up towards sunset with some good shoulder high sets breaking in the rivermouth.

For Wednesday we should see a small drop in swell of less than a foot.  Winds will be strong offshore in the morning and the usual shifting in the afternoon with choppy conditions.

High Tide for tomorrow will be at 11:47am

Low Tide at 5:20am/5:50pm

Time of Post 6:12pm Local Time.
