Surf Report for Saturday, July 9th 2011

Tamarindo

A great for some competition here in at the Main break in Tama.  The waves this morning were beautiful, with calm offshore winds, breaking in the chest to head high range.  Glassy conditions prevailed until just after 9am.  Some texture entered the water but we never saw any heavy chop.  The River Mouth started kicking earlier than usual, throwing some small barrels and holding some decent size in the chest high range.

In the later afternoon the Main was seeing some nice waves rolling left as well as some decent rights out of the river mouth.  Waves continued to break in the chest high range with the winds shifting sideshore but not effecting the wave heavily.

For Sunday we should be seeing the swell beginning to build pushing up just slightly overhead by sunset.  Winds are predicted to stay favorable moving mainly offshore and then some shifting mixed in around mid-afternoon.  Clean to fair conditions for the day.

High Tide for Tomorrow at 9:53am/10:30pm

Low at 3:21am/4:12pm

Time of Post 9:45pm Local Time
