Surf Report for Sunday, March 13th 2011 (Afternoon/Evening)

Tamarindo

In the early afternoon the wind had shifted side shore/onshore and conditions remained pretty choppy.  Around 4pm the conditions were cleaning up although the wind remained side shore, the waves appeared to be building.  But by 5pm it was clear that the waves were not going to materialize as predicted with most under waist high.  There were a few stand out waves that came in around stomach high with good shape but over all not what was expected.

For Monday we should have moderate to strong offshore winds in the morning switching to onshore after lunch.   Swell should be in the head high range but coming out of the SSW and S so it remains to be seen how much of  that we´ll see here in Tamarindo.  Conditions look to be clean in the morning and fair to choppy for the entire afternoon and evening.  I may be best to get out early tomorrow if you can.

High Tide for tomorrow will be at 9:30am/9:56pm

Low Tide at 3:04am/3:26pm

Time of Post 6:48pm Local Time.
