Surf Report for Sunday, May 15th 2011

Tamarindo

Overcast day here in Tamarindo, with temps cooling down.  The waves were not able to do a whole lot today with the winds coming onshore early in the morning.  Things stayed pretty choppy for most of the morning until around high tide when the wind switched offshore for a bit.  It did clean up but only moderately and the waves continued around knee high with the occasional waist high set.

For Monday we will be seeing waves again in the waist high range with the possibility of bigger sets around mid-morning.    Conditions are forecasted to be fair in the morning with onshore winds coming out of the WNW.  The afternoon may see some added chop with the winds staying onshore.

High Tide for Monday 1:13am/1:34pm

Low Tide at 7:12am/7:51pm

Time of Post 7:37pm Local Time
