Surf Report for Thursday, March 10th 2011 (Afternoon/Evening)

Tamarindo

Waves this afternoon were about what we had expected.  Mostly waist high and under with winds moving onshore to side shore.  There was quit a bit of chop in the water early afternoon but that mellowed along with the winds towards sunset.

Tomorrow we should still be feeling that very small contribution from the WNW swell but that should end sometime midmorning.  The major swell coming in SSW will also be tapering off towards the afternoon so that even southern facing beaches will most likely only be seeing waist high by sunset.  Winds for tomorrow should be calm with the wind staying offshore except between 1 and 4pm when it´s expected to switch onshore for a bit.

High Tide for Friday will be at 6:46am/7:01pm

Low Tide at 12:33am/12:40pm

Time of Post 6:35 pm
