Surf Report for Tuesday, February 22nd 2011 (Afternoon/Evening)

Tamarindo

Winds in the pm were all over the place then towards sunset they settled on cross shore.  Waves flattened out around 12 and stayed flat until close to 3pm.  Waves built at high tide but other than a few standout chest high sets stayed mostly in the knee to  waist high range on the main break.  Conditions for the most part stayed choppy.

For tomorrow we should be seeing swell build throughout the day.  It’s continuing to come out of the SSW so we probably won’t see the full effects at the Tamarindo main.  We may get into the Chest high range by the afternoon.  Winds should stay side or offshore for most of the day up until sunset when the may turn light onshore.  Conditions for tomorrow will be clean to fairly clean.

High Tide for Wednesday will be at 6:21am/6:45pm

Time of post 7:50pm local time.
