The sunsets in Tamarindo are well known to be world class. Even the local howler monkeys will take a break to enjoy the show! This is exactly what happened a few days as the sun was setting over the Tamarindo estuary. The view was spectacular (wait for the end).

Boca Barranca was Costa Rica's first popular surf destination. Since the late 1960s, surfers have made the trek down the mountain from San Jose to ride waves at this classic left point break. And while many surfers still frequent this spot, most surfers have still never surfed this wave.

When the property directly in front of the surf came up for sale, we couldn't resist the opportunity to be part of Costa Rica's surfing history. We're currently fixing up an old existing structure, turning it into a handful of boutique hotel rooms. We'd like to revive the longboard surf contest that once called this place home. And who knows what else...

Stay tuned as we continue to develop this project. Please consider subscribing to the channel, and click the like button if you haven't done so already.

This is what the waves are looking like right now along Playa Tamarindo and Playa Grande. Rainy season seems to be just about over... Offshore winds are starting to blow... While it's getting colder up north, down here in Costa Rica things are just starting to heat up.

Give us a call and come surfing with us. Pura vida!
