Monday Surf Report

The ocean is looking similar to a lake this morning. This is due to low tide at 8 am and the swell not coming in until later today. Even with the waves being 1-2ft, I wouldnt be completely dischourge from paddling out. All you need is the right equipement such as a paddle and a 12ft board.

Saturday Surf Report

Currently, the wind is picking up causing the waves to lose form. The swell is relatively small with some 3ft sets. Overall, the conditions are not in our favor. However, there is a slight possibilty that good surf conditions are around the corner. We are expecting some rain aroound 1pm and sometimes after the rain the wind dies down leaving the ocean extremely glassy. If this happeneds, you should definitly consider paddling out.

Friday Surf Report

This morning at the peak of low tide, the swell could only manage to create 2-3ft waves. Not the most ideal for surfing, however this bodysurfer was able to catch a few fun ones. If the wind stays calm while the tide rises, we should be due for some good waves later in the morning.

Condition are calm at the moment. The wind is pretty much nonexisitant and will hopefully stay that way throughout the morning. High tide about 12pm. As the tide rises waves should improve even more.

Overall Conditions are looking great this morning, The wind is clam and will remain calm fot the next couple of hours. The tide is also in our favor this morning! It reaches its peak at 11, which means there are several surf spots in Tamarindo that will be firing. Best of luck, I hope everyone gets out there.

Onshore winds since first light this morning has made for less than ideal conditions. Wave size has dropped to the waist high range, but there is still swell energy in the water. Possible afternoon rains with an incoming tide could clean things up dramatically for the afternoon session. Keep an eye on the ocean throughout the day. Plenty of swell in the forecast...
