Tamarindo (Main)
Picked up today pretty much where we left off yesterday. At 6:30am the waves were rolling in head high up to a couple feet overhead. Winds were light, moving mostly sideshore, and conditions were near glassy. Barrels were forming on occasion, just after 6am.
As the morning progressed the waves stayed strong but conditions got pretty rough as the current took over and started wreaking havoc on the break. Out near the rocks there was still a left but between 8:30 and 10am the rest of the break was pretty unorganized.
The rest of the day the size continued to hold up on the Main with lots of closeouts and the occasional great ride. Winds the rest of the day stayed pretty light and onshore. The river mouth never really seemed to get going with a few barrels firing off before anyone was out on the break, it then sputtered out and didn´t really do much for the rest of the day.
For Friday the swell is predicted to subside but only a little, with head high and occasional overhead still in the predictions. Conditions for the AM should be fair with winds running sideshore. Winds will be turning moderate and onshore around 11am with conditions turning choppy for the remainder of the day.
High Tide for Friday 4:39am/4:59pm
Low Tide at 10:39am/11:08pm
