Tamarindo Beautiful skies this morning but the waves weren’t quit on par with the scenery.  The waves came in mostly in the knee high range with the bigger sets reaching waist high.  Winds were calm for most of the morning with a gentle breeze blowing offshore until around 11am when they moved around and stayed soft onshore. The waves died out as the tide pulled out with conditions staying fairly clean even with the onshores.  Things started to turn around about 3pm just after the rain slowed up.  Conditions turned glassy and there were a few really nice waves rolling ...read post

Tamarindo Fun little mid afternoon session out on the Main as well as Pico Grande.  Waves began building up around 10am with things picking up to waist to chest high by 12:30.  Waves stayed pretty consistent throughout the afternoon until around 4pm when they began dying out a little. The winds were pretty strong blowing sideshore but it didn´t kill the wave and there was only a little bit of bump in the water. Things for the next couple of days look pretty similar with waves dropping off a bit after Wednesday. We´re still seeing 4-5 foot in the forecasts ...read post

Tamarindo It was a fairly small day out front but it did improve from yesterday.  We saw mostly knee to waist high with the occasional chest set rolling through.  Winds were mostly moving offshore in the AM but with a storm blowing through around 11am they did kick onshore for an hour or so with some heavy chop pushing in.  The afternoon cleaned up a little but the waves seemed to die out with the tide rolling out. For Monday we may see a slight drop off in wave height in the shoulder to head high range.  Conditions are looking ...read post

Copia de DSC_1099

Tamarindo It was a fun morning out on the Main Break with some super clean sets rolling in around waist to chest high.  Winds stayed solid offshore until around 1pm when they started to kick around.  The waves began to fade as we moved into the afternoon with some fairly heavy chop coming in.  They picked up a little around sunset but it was waist high at best. For tomorrow we may see the swell jump back up into the head high range.  We may not see the size out front but the near by south facing beaches may be ...read post
