Is the work week dragging on? Are you ready for it to be Saturday already? The good news is that we’re just about half-way through the week and can see the weekend on the horizon. The bad news is that if you’re reading this right now, you’re sitting in front of a computer or checking out your iPhone and not in the water surfing. YouTube has given a whole new meaning to mind-surfing, which is the next best thing if you can’t actually be in the water ...read post

We’re in a transitional phase between our last swell and the next swell scheduled to arrive Thursday morning.     The waves were in the knee to waist-high range yesterday, with an occasional chest-high set rolling through.     Wednesday is looking small and very clean. The offshore winds have kicked up, making the conditions look flawless.     The first signs of the new swell could start showing later this evening, so you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on it. Beyond that, tomorrow is looking like it could be pretty damn good.     High Tide for ...read post

While Friday  saw a gradual drop in this lest swell, there was still plenty to ride.     Waves were in the knee to chest-high range, with overhead sets coming in for the little guys as demonstrated in the photo above.     It looks like more of the same out in the Rivermouth today. I would recommend grabbing your favorite longboard and heading out.     We have a new swell pulsing that should start showing signs on Sunday afternoon. As always, we’ll keep you posted!     High Tide for Saturday 02:26 p.m. 9.02 ft Low Tide ...read post

The pictures speak for themselves…..     Barrels….     Rippables…     Launchpads…     Super long lefts….(and rights)     More ramps….     And even some nice close-outs! Waves are expected to stay around tomorrow. We’re looking at more of the same with a slight drop-off in the evening.   High Tide for Friday- 01:39 p.m. 8.57 ft Low Tide for Friday- 07:20 a.m. 1.65 ft, 07:53 p.m. 0.75 ft ...read post

Well……the swell made it!!!!     After a run of small waves, a swell out of the south-southwest filled in late Tuesday night.     As you can see, even the dogs were excited about this one!     Waves at the Tamarindo Rivermouth were consistently running in the shoulder to head-high range, with standout sets coming in at 1-2ft. overhead.     Everyone was so stoked that they were cool with sharing a wave together here and there. Let’s not make that a habit though!     There were plenty of nice little barrel rides to be ...read post
