Surf Report for Tuesday, March 8th 2011

Playa Grande (Morning)

Hit Grande this morning at about 7:30 and things were working great.  Great wind glassy conditions and chest to head high at the main break.  Unfortunately by 8:15 this is what it looked like.  The tide dropped super fast and sucked all of the waves out with it.

Tamarindo (Afternoon/Evening)

Conditions here in Tamarindo were pretty rough today.  With the exception of the early morning session the wind stayed onshore for the entire day.  Waves were mostly in the knee high range but conditions were super choppy from late morning until the early evening when it calmed down a little bit.

For tomorrow we should see a cookie cutter of today.  Small and clean in the morning with wind shifting onshore in the late morning and conditions staying rough for the remainder of the day.  Waves will remain in the knee to waist high range.

High Tide for Tomorrow will be at 5:31am/5:46pm

Low Tide at 11:27am/11:55pm

Time of post 6:12pm Local Time
