Surf Report for Thursday, April 21st 2011

Tamarindo

Another great morning on the main break.  Not very big but very clean with good shape.  The main break was working for most of the morning and as we got closer to dead low tide the rivermouth came on a bit as well.  There weren´t any ride-able barrels but with the swell coming in the next couple of days there is definitely hope.

The afternoon stayed pretty consistent with the pattern as of late although it did seem a bit smaller than the past couple of days.  Most waves came in around waist to chest with only occasional shoulder to head high.  Winds staedy light onshore/side-shore with a little bit of chop in the water.

For Friday we should be seeing a sizable increase in swell with between shoulder and head high for the day light hours and just after dark some overhead should start coming in setting us up for a big Saturday morning.  Standard clean morning and onshore afternoon applies.

High Tide for tomorrow will be at 5:45am/6:03pm

with Low Tide at 11:45am

Time of Post 6:11pm Local Time.
