Playa Avellanas Surf Report – Friday morning June 22nd 2012

There was a little bit of surf early this morning before the tide dropped out.  These photos are from around 7am in Playa Avellanas, with local surfers Paco and Trey getting a few nice ones despite the drop in size.  In Tamarindo the wind was on it from daybreak and it wasn’t very good.  These winds have been pretty strong the last few days, which is very unseasonal.  The surf forecast looks like we’re going to continue to get some poor winds, so try to wake up early and hit the beachbreaks as the early AM high tide creeps up over the next few days.

Tides for today:
Low Tide: 10:34am
High Tide: 4:47pm
