Playa Grande Surf Report – July 31, 2012 (video)

The waves directly in front are not so impressive, the swell has definitely dropped a bit here in Tamarindo. No worries….hop on a boat or walk a little ways down the beach, and you can find some waves. The intermediate group scored some fun surf in the chest/shoulder high range. Man the wind has really been great the last couple days. Strong off-shore winds this morning quickly lightened up to mild off-shore winds….and stayed that way for the rest of the day. Looks like the swell is going to stay in the small range for the next couple days. Then, looking at the charts, Friday night we might see a new SSW swell in the 4-6ft range continuing until next week. Cross your fingers folks
