Our Single Queen Tiki Rooms offer the perfect blend of comfort and privacy, keeping you close to the action while enjoying your own personal space. Prefer an upgrade? The Tiki Balcony Rooms include a private balcony with a partial ocean view.
If you want to be right on the beach, our Beachfront Studio opens directly onto the sand and features a private deck with seating—perfect for post-surf relaxation.
For a quieter atmosphere, our sister property, Pueblo Dorado Surf Hotel, offers a peaceful setting just a short walk from the main site, providing easy access to all surf programs and the social energy of Witch’s Rock Surf Camp.

Within a 10-minute walk from camp, you’ll find pharmacies, fresh fruit markets, souvenir shops, yoga studios, gyms, over 50 restaurants, and the best nightlife in Costa Rica.
From the moment you land at Liberia International Airport (LIR), just one hour away, you’ll be comfortably transported straight to the beach. You can also book non-surf activities through our front desk, including ziplining, ATV tours, snorkeling, fishing charters, and more. No rental car required.
Waves for Everyone
Playa Tamarindo and the surrounding coastline offer ideal conditions for surfers of every level. Beginners will love the mellow, forgiving waves out front that build confidence and help you progress quickly.
Intermediate and advanced surfers can access a variety of world-class breaks just minutes away. Our region in NW Costa Rica enjoys 300+ days of sunshine each year, consistent offshore winds, and warm 80°F water—perfect conditions for surfing year-round.
Safe and Secure
Safety is our #1 priority. Witch’s Rock Surf Camp proudly sponsors the Tamarindo Lifeguard Program, with the main lifeguard tower located directly in front of our surf camp. All of our surf instructors are CPR-certified and trained extensively in ocean safety. An emergency clinic is conveniently located right next to the resort.

SINGLE TRAVELER package include:
Surf Costa Rica by van and boat, surfing the best waves in the area on any given day. Your local Costa Rican guide will carefully choose the location based on swell size, period, direction, and wind. Our local knowledge will help you score. Advanced guided tours last 3-5 hours.
A Saturday-Saturday reservation is suggested, but not required. Guests can stay more or less than 7 days, and trips can start on any day of the week.
Our daily surf seminars are great oppurtunities to socialize and possibly learn something new!

This isn’t your normal free breakfast.
Choose from anything on the breakfast menu in our beachfront restaurant Eat at Joe’s. Prepare for your big day of surfing with large portions of tasty beach grinds.
Whether you need help choosing the perfect board for your first lesson, or you are an experienced surfer who doesn’t want to pay the fees to bring your board, we have what you need.
You can test and change boards as many times as you like all day long. We have over 250 surfboards in our rental fleet: long boards, mid-range, shortboards, and alternative shapes by Firewire, Robert August, Von Sol, Walden, and more.
We provide free airport transportation to and from the Liberia International Airport on Saturday in our air conditioned vans. Arriving on a non-Saturday? No worries, we can get you at your convenience for $96.
