Surf Report for Monday, June 13th 2011

Tamarindo

The day started out great with some glassy conditions and decent size, but by 9:30am the wind had kicked onshore.  The wave wasn´t able to handle the onshore leaving the main pretty blown out with waist to chest high crumbling through.  As the day progressed the winds never really let up, moving fairly strong onshore until just before sunset.  We did see some really amazing waves roll through just after the sun had set and the light was fading.

For Tuesday predictions look good if not a little on the small side.  Forecasts for the swell are in the shoulder to head high range continuing out of the SW and SSW.  Tamarindo will most likely still be missing most of the swell but we should still see some waist to chest high with the winds staying offshore for the day.  Conditions should stay near glass for the entire day.

High Tide for Tomorrow at 12:55am/1:15pm

Low Tide at 6:52am/7:34pm

Time of Post 7:55pm Local Time.
