Surf Report for Monday, May 16th 2011

Tamarindo

A small day out there on the waves today with the wind onshore early again.  Waves were reaching knee high for most of the day with a few waist high sets around high tide.  Conditions stayed fair to choppy for the entire day.  While the break has been working fairly well with onshore as of late, the combination of small swell and onshore, didn´t leave too many long rides.

For Tomorrow we will hopefully be seeing a little redemption from the past few days.  The morning should start out in fair condition with chest high waves predicted.  Winds are predicted to be running side shore for most of the morning until around 10am when they turn onshore.  The swell should start building around mid to late morning and by sunset tomorrow predictions call for overhead waves.  All this swell is coming out of the SSW so here in Tamarindo we most likely won´t get quit the size but if predictions hold true we should see shoulder to head high by the end of the day.

High Tide at 2:07am/2:25pm

Low Tide at 8:06am/8:42pm

Time of Post 8:26pm Local Time
