Surf Report for Sunday, March 13th 2011 (Morning)

Tamarindo

Waves this morning were fairly typical for the mornings of late.   Small but with glassy conditions and calm offshore winds for most of the early morning.  Winds shifted to a 45 for a little while mid morning but then moved back to a steady offshore.  Currently the wind has shifted to onshore with waves in the knee high range.  Conditions are fairly choppy.

For this afternoon the swell should be picking up significantly, particularly for southern facing beaches.  We should see waves picking up as well here at the Tamarindo main break with a small contribution coming from the WNW adding to the significant SSW swell.  We may see moderate winds blowing side shore to onshore for most of the early afternoon with things cleaning up around 4:30pm.

High Tide for Today at 8:47pm

Low Tide at 2:19pm

Time of Post 11:44am
