Surf Report for Sunday, May 8th 2011

Tamarindo

A rather small day today here on the main break.  Waves have been coming in mostly in the knee to stomach range.  Conditions this morning were very good with offshore wind, glassy water, and several well formed sets.  The majority of waves were closing fast but the rides that were there were pretty good.  Right now the winds are onshore but expected to be turning off for the sunset session.

For Monday the swell should stay about were it was today with predictions for chest to shoulder high for today and tomorrow.  Winds will be much less favorable, beginning to turn onshore late in the AM, bringing with a good deal of chop.

High Tide for tomorrow at 6:53am/7:08pm

Low Tide at 12:30am/12:52pm

Time of Post 2:27pm Local Time.
