Tamarindo
Another fine day here in Tamarindo. The swell hit bottom today according to the predictions but it was sometimes hard to tell when looking at the waves today. Through the early afternoon there were quit a few chest high sets coming through with head high plus showing up on occasion. This pattern repeated throughout the rest of the day. Toward late afternoon the waves began closing down fast and if you were going to keep up you needed to be generating a lot of speed. Sunset we saw the main break peeling off some nice lefts. Winds fluctuated between moderate and very strong for the entire day with fair conditions for the afternoon.
For Wednesday the swell is suppose to peak around 11am reaching well past head high according to forecasts. Winds will likely turn onshore in the early afternoon but stay fairly mild. Conditions should be glassy in the AM with fair conditions for the rest of the day. Wind and water conditions look like they may become less than ideal towards the later part of the week so enjoy the next couple of days.
High Tide for Wednesday will be at 5:12am/5:33pm
with Low Tide at 11:13am/11:46pm
Time of Post 7:56pm Local Time.
