Wow. What a great week it was for waves here in Tamarindo. Everywhere from Playa Avellanas to Playa Grande got their fair share of great waves. The Guanacaste micro-climate provided some pretty incredible conditions for this time of year.
The rivermouth right out in front of the surf camp delivered its fair share of barrels during this swell. The sandbars seem to really be set up quite well right now.
Looking ahead we have multiple swells on the way, which isn’t a bad problem to have. The weather will be unstable, but if you do your research you should be able to find the right combination of weather, wind and waves.
