Just wanted drop you a note to let you what a great time every member of our group of 4 had at WRSC last week, and to thank you and the entire WR staff for a an overall excellent experience. More than one of us felt it was the best travel experience we have had.
From the moment we contacted WRSC to the minute we were leaving, every detail was exactly as advertised, plus more. Our group, ranging in age from 49- 65, had never touched a surf board. To be honest, we were a little suspect of what we would experience, and were not expecting to leave feeling as confident and knowledgeable about surfing as each of us did.
In every business, success depends primarily upon great management and selection of the right employees. WRSC excels in both categories. From the excellent customer service arranging our trip (with several changes), to the coordination of our transport, to the friendly and professional front desk operations, to the excellent surf instructors who were not only talented in surfing, but great and patient teachers and motivators that quickly became friends (Andres and Flash were our primary instructors and we would definitely ask for them again!), to the wonderful and charming (and hilarious) wait staff (especially Luis, Patricia and Ellie), and even the maids.
Having travelled South and Central America on various occasions, I know how important it is to keep valuables locked at all times. Nonetheless, our group frequently left cameras, Ipads, laptops, cash, passports and other valuables unlocked and out in the open in our room. Not a single items was missing – a testament to the dedication and honesty of even the lowest level employees at WRSC. Your website does not even mention the onsite security that monitors anyone entering the premises.
The surfing instruction and seminars (Andres and Kailani in particular) were outstanding, even for those of us past our prime. The food and drink at Joe’s is great, and what a fun and convenient place to share experiences with our classmates and other more experienced surfers, as well as the instructors.
You have created a very special experience, in a fantastic location, with the highest caliber staff. WRSC is a very cool surf experience and the epitome of “Pura Vida”. We can’t wait to return.
