…Your atmosphere is perfect and the pina coladas at Joe’s can’t be beat!

November 15th, 2010

Dear Witch’s Rock Surf Camp,

I just left on Sat and am already planning my return trip next Nov. I was in a group there last week, and sometimes you have to go with the group’s desires instead of your own. Unfortunately, several in the group wanted to switch hotels, so we did. Personally, I would rather have stayed with you all, and will on my next trip! Your atmosphere is perfect and the pina coladas at Joe’s can’t be beat! As a former ski instructor (10 years), I recognize good coaching and the ability to build progressions. Maria was fabulous; and her constant smile didn’t hurt either. Happy lives up to his name; he added greatly to my trip.

Now, I have a rather odd request, if you can possibly help. On Friday the 12th, I went on the graduation trip with Maria. As we were leaving, a very thin dog came up. (I’m sure Happy will remember him. You can ask him.) He gratefully wolfed down the few chips that we fed him. I don’t know if there are any rescue organizations anywhere in the area or how strays are handled, but the poor guy needs a home. If there’s anything at all you could do (pick him up on your next trip to that beach if he shows and take him to a rescue or find him a home, or at least take him a burger from Joe’s), I will gladly pay the costs. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about the poor, hungry guy.

Thanks, in advance, if you can do anything to help out the dog. And thanks for providing such a terrific vacation.

Sincerely,
Ellen Craig
