Lobster Tails and Jalapeno Shrimp Tacos

Two grilled lobster tails & two garlic-lime marinated shrimp tacos filled with salsa fresca, fresh shredded cabbage, and a zesty jalapeno sour-cream sauce. Served with Costa Rica’s classic black beans & rice and a side of melted butter.

 

Lobster Tails:

2 lobster tails (120 gr each)
2 teaspoons olive oil

Method: Split the top of the lobster shells with knife. Toss lobster tails with olive oil in bowl and grill until cooked through. Approximately 10 minutes.

Shrimp Tacos:

4 shrimp (peeled & deveined with tails off)
1 teaspoons olive oil
½ clove garlic chopped
½ lime
pinch salt
pinch pepper

Method: Clean shrimp and marinate in the rest of the ingredients for 10 minutes then grill until cooked through. Approximately 5 minutes.

Jalapeno cream-sauce:

Use same taco sauce from macho tacos.

Cabbage:

Shred to be put in tacos.

Black beans & Rice:

Use same beans and rice from regular menu.

Melted Butter:

Fill 2 oz. ramekin with melted butter for dipping lobster.

Colas de Langosta y tacos de camarón

Dos colas de langosta a la parrilla y dos tacos de camarones marinados al ajo limon llenos de salsa fresca, repollo rallado fresco y una salsa de jalapeño crema agria picante. Servido con clásicos frijoles negros y arroz de Costa Rica! Extra de mantequilla derretida.

Colas de langosta:

2 colas de langosta (120 gr cada uno)

2 cucharaditas de aceite de oliva

Método: Dividir la parte superior de las conchas de langosta con un cuchillo. Mezcle las colas de langosta con aceite de oliva en un tazón y una parrilla hasta que estén cocidas. Aproximadamente 10 minutos.

Tacos de camarones:

4 camarones (pelado y desvenado sin cola)

1 cucharadita de aceite de oliva

½ diente de ajo picado

½ limón

pizca de sal

pizca de pimienta

Método: Limpiar los camarones y deje marinar en el resto de los ingredientes durante 10 minutos y luego parrillar hasta que estén cocidas. Aproximadamente 5 minutos.

Salsa Fresca:

Utilice la misma salsa fresca en el menú regular.

Crema salsa Jalapeno:

Utilice la misma salsa para tacos de tacos macho.

Repollo:

Preparar para tacos.

Mantequilla derretida:

Llene 2 oz cazuela con mantequilla derretida para mojar langosta.
